October 2007
Two new songs on the music page can be downloaded, "Breakdown" which is very guitar based and Pink Floyd/Tangerine Dream style, with Joe Osborne on solo guitar. The 2nd track is "Shooting Star", chillout style with Joe on guitar again.September 2007
I have made a track with Joe Osborne via the internet, available at myspace Joe plays lead guitar throughout.September 2006
The last 7 months have been a period of home improvement, including a new studio setup. This as well as other obstacles have prevented me from settling in to producing any music, although I have been interested in alot of "religious" enquiry such as the videos, dvds and internet info on J Krishnamurti and in the last few weeks, the intriguing U.G. Krishnamurti. Please visit my Myspace page as it is always being updated with different songs and photos.March
I have finished a new song that is contemporary classical called "The Wandering Of Ages", the name is inspired by Krishnamurti's book "From Darkness To Light". Have been jamming with Stephen Wilson and a guitarist for a few weeks. The weather here in Merseyside has been very cold with snow during early March!February
New pictures of me in New Brighton, the coast of Wirral, Merseyside.January
Just bought an Edirol controller keyboard and I have moved everything around in the studio and made it more homely.December
Some different featured songs and more downloads uploaded. It's one windy day today, in the attic you can hear the wind alot more, at least I've got my elec'y fire... I've been busy riding my new Rieju motorbike in the past few days, my master keyboard is being repaired at the moment but I am planning on doing some jazz with 6/4 time, ambient and electronica in the New Year.October
Some previously unheard songs are on the music page - A live session with David Greaves on bass and vocal overdubs. These songs were recorded in April 1998 in a Bedsit in Birkenhead. Keyboards used: Alesis Qs6 synth, Ensoniq Mirage sampler (drumloops) and a Jen SM2007 string machine.September
All the album tracks can now be listened to in lofi or hifi samples, and I added some full length featured songs to the music page that will be changed at least once a month, and some more music tracks.August
Please check out a track Stephen Wilson wrote featuring myself on organ, called "Airtight Alibi" on the music page. There's also a picture of Stephen on the gallery page.
A few changes have been made to the website, more of a space feel to it really. The new song "Other Realms" is now on the music page with vocoder vocals, the first song I've made with a vocoder - phew, it's finally finished!. I'm now spending more time cycling on my new racing bike, and keeping healthy by taking flaxseed oil every day, definitely recommended since it is rich in omega 3. A few weeks ago I bought a Sequential Prophet 600 classic analog synth, and there are a few sounds from it on the new song. Check out the jukebox too, by clicking on the jukebox in the bottom left corner of the website. Some new pictures on the gallery page uploaded a week ago.

New song preview of Rock Valley on the music page, the solos are played on software synths.April
The next albums going to be underway soon and there will be an improvised, unfolding structure, quite ambient. I'm very excited about it because it feels like something very different, and should be finished by Summer 2006. The new compilation albums Indigo Sphere and The Shorehouse are now on sale at ebay.co.uk and from here via paypal. Added a picture of virtuoso musician Stephen Wilson to the gallery page. Steve's website launch has been postponed for the next few months.Singer songwriter Tarun Stevenson is back on the internet with his new website and for the first time in 6 years, a new album. Back in '99 Tarun had a hit at mp3.com with Booth Funk, a very funky number, and you can hear samples of his latest album Psalms For The Broken at tarunstevenson.com which really gets down to core emotional themes, very bluesy and pure.

Welcome to the new-look website! The text is easier to read having been contained in more narrow boxes, less scrolling down where the whole page moves, a more arty, unorthodox look and no more horrible "page footers".The title of the latest studio album Tinariwen has been changed to Spaces because "Tinariwen" is the trademark name of the South African Toureg group.
Two studio album compilations are available within the next couple of days, Indigo Sphere consists of tracks from '97 to '02 and The Shorehouse which has classic tracks from '95 to '97. Both have superb artwork and will be available from here or ebay.co.uk
Currently underway is the launch of a website dedicated to my Friend Stephen Wilson, whom I've had the pleasure of working with on studio music and going on the road with his band, so watch out for a link to his website very soon...
New story added to the poetry page.
February

Check out two finished tracks from the forthcoming live album, Moody Jazz and Storm from some sessions in 2000, with drummer Jim Lawrence, and guitarist Paul Evans, new overdubs and edits. Also there are some blues songs for you as well, just for the internet. Please visit the new blog box, my internet diary.December
Uploaded two pictures of The Bluesband, 1997 on the gallery page. Especially for the Christmas spirit, check out a rendition of Sweet Home Chicago, a recording featuring myself on Piano, Colin Kirby on Guitar, Vocals and Harmonica, Derek Kirby on Bass and rythm programming.November
Just getting some live music sorted out for the compilation album, lots of audio editing going on... Added three songs from a gig with The Steve Wilson Band at the Hamilton Quarter, Birkenhead, May 1997. Steve is a talented guy who writes his own music and has a powerful voice, not to mention he plays guitar at the same time! He got me into music sequencing and has been a kindred spirit over the years...
October
16th...All songs are now ready for mastering onto cdrs and it's just a case of finishing the artwork for the album. The latest song is "Intro" on the music page. I'm currently starting a Live compilation of music that I collaborated with singers, drummers and bass players over the last 9 years, some of it needs alot of cleaning up since the quality varies from portable cassette recordings to minidisc recordings. There will be new anchor music to frame it nicely. Also in the pipeline is a new age album and possibly after that, a tribute to early 70's moog type stuff. Anyhow, check out the song Someone's Dream featuring Steve Hughes on vocals, done back in late 1995, as a taster for the compilation album. Hope you enjoy the music :)
9th...Just finished the 2nd to last song for the new album called Quanos Luxa, the name is fictional and the song has a Vangelis feel to it with Timpanis and French horns, check it out on the music page.
Midnight Drive is song of the day on 4th October at ic-musicmedia.com. 4 songs have been uploaded there.
I have made a new track with Joe Osborne called Shooting Star, at www.myspace.com/davidparry
Joe plays the lead guitar throughout.

August
A new picture added to the gallery page called "Angels"
July
I've just bought a Hohner string synth and a Crumar Bit One synth... New song featured on the music page called Tinariwen (empty places) inspired by watching the south African band Tinariwen. Another new song added, called Midnight Drive including sounds from the Bit One synth and Akai AX73. I guess it has that "nocturnal" sound with a grooving rythm. Added background music to various pages. A new piece of music plays on the "welcome" page plus another sound when you hover over the images or "enter" sign. The tracks are "Runaway" for the "about" page, "Mystery Letter" for this page, and an excerpt from "Solina" for the "shop" page. Added sound rollovers to the menu so you get a rim shot when you hover the mouse over a link.
June
The "Livin' For Today" album is now available to buy online via paypal and there are 30 second samples of each track on the Shop page.
New song uploaded 4th June, called "GanjaFish". It's a longer track lasting over 7 minutes and progresses through different sections. It's quite different to anything else I've done because it has more sequencing and the stereo panning of the instruments is done in a new way. All in all, I'm learning lots of new techniques, and it was fun and not so fun doing it!
April
New song uploaded 21st April, called "Feeling Good". The new mp3.com is starting any time now... My music will be online there soon, watch out for a few clips that ar'nt on this website. There is a new intro about myself on the About page.
March
Major changes to the audio pages, including lots of new organ songs. Thanks to real audio format, I can now host much more music! There's a new song called Hills Of Talphos that I wrote and you can listen to it at the music page. Also I played some organ on a song originally performed in October 1996, a live jam called Moonpool, also available for listening/download. The new album is underway and I have been using the new Homestudio 2004 music production software - great fun!
